Meet the Minds Behind The Bearded Vulture
Every creative space has a heartbeat. At The Bearded Vulture, that heartbeat comes from two business partners—Jason Gordon and Joy Fisher—two creators with a shared vision: to build a space where art, music, and holistic health come together in one soulful, community-driven venue.
We’re not a big corporation or a trendy concept. We’re two passionate people turning our lived experiences, creative callings, and love of kava into something meaningful.

Jason holds a Master of Social Work from PennWest University and a bachelor’s from Gwynedd Mercy University. He’s currently completing his personal training certification, blending physical wellness with emotional and creative health.
He combines his passion for holistic health with a fierce dedication to weight lifting, hiking, and adventure. Always pushing limits, Jason channels his energy into writing powerful poetry, organizing creative communities, and exploring the depths of music from rock to funk to blues, and jazz. When he’s not lifting weights or crafting words, he’s out on the trails with his Norwegian Elkhound named Nymeria, or planning his next travel escape—always chasing growth, connection, and inspiration. His favorite band is The Red Hot Chili Peppers and he is influenced by the likes of Buddy Guy, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Led Zeppelin, Eric Clapton, and Stone Temple Pilots.
Why We Started The Bearded Vulture
We started The Bearded Vulture because we wanted to create what we couldn’t find—a late-night, relaxed, art-filled space for creatives and conscious minds. A place that nourishes the body and soul with kava, education, community, and culture.
We’re starting with pop-ups, but our vision is bigger: a physical home where live music, poetry, used books, and holistic drinks come together under one welcoming roof.
